News - Rise of the Tomb Raider : Update bringt DirectX-12-Support

Rise of the Tomb Raider hat auf dem PC abermals ein frisches Update verpasst bekommen, das nun auch Unterstützung von DirectX 12 mit sich bringt.
Der Patch hievt das Spiel auf die neue Versionsnummer 1.0.638.6 und wird automatisch heruntergeladen, wenn ihr Steam startet und Auto-Updates aktiviert habt. Im Übrigen wird der Patch vor dem Spielstart heruntergeladen. Für die Windows-10-Store-Variante erscheint das Update "in wenigen Tagen".
Die richtige Hardware vorausgesetzt, wird Rise of the Tomb Raider nach der Installation künftig Gebrauch von DirectX 12 machen. Spieler sollten dann eine bessere Performance registrieren, sofern auch die aktuellsten GPU-Treiber installiert werden. Ansonsten sind aber natürlich noch weitere Änderungen an Bord, die ihr dem nachfolgenden Patch-Log entnehmen könnt.
