News - Quantum Break : Wegen GPU-Abstürzen: Warten auf ein Win-10-Update

PC-Spieler von Quantum Break müssen Geduld beweisen, denn der aktuelle Patch lässt für diese Spielversion noch auf sich warten. Gleichzeitig macht dieser aber nicht allen gravierenden Problemen den Garaus.

Während Xbox-One-Spieler, wie von Remedy versprochen, bereits auf das neueste Update zum Spiel zurückgreifen können, müssen sich PC-Gamer noch gedulden. PR-Manager Thoma Puha sagte nun via Twitter aus, dass die Wartezeit "hoffentlich nicht zu lange" ausfallen wird; einen konkreten Termin für das Update 2 für Windows 10 scheint es also noch nicht zu geben.

Allerdings werden dann auch nicht alle schwerwiegenden Probleme behoben sein. Wie in den Remedy-Foren zu lesen ist, hat Microsoft einen Fehler im Speichermanagement von Windows 10 festgestellt, der dazu führt, dass das Spiel unter einigen GPUs abstürze. Die Chance hierfür sei bei höheren Grafikeinstellungen auch größer.

Leider Gottes kann Remedy das Problem daher aber nicht selbst beheben, sondern ist auf ein Windows-10-Update seitens Microsoft angewiesen. Die Redmonder sollen bereits an der Behebung arbeiten, bis wann mit dem Update zu rechnen sein wird, ist aber ebenfalls nicht bekannt.
